This policy covers sportsmantra.co.in and the Sports Mantra report card service, operated by NextGen SportsMantra LLP. It describes how we handle personal data under Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
On this website: what you type into the contact form: your name, email and message.
For the report card service: the details needed to prepare a report card, collected only after consent.
Children
Where a player is a minor, we collect and use their data only with the verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian, as the DPDP Act requires. We do not use children’s data for tracking, behavioural monitoring or advertising.
Use and sharing
Personal data is used to provide the service. A report card is shared with the family and the academy. We do not sell personal data.
Storage
Data is stored with established cloud providers using reasonable security safeguards, access is limited to those who need it to provide the service, and it is kept only as long as needed or as the law requires. Some providers may store data outside India, as the law permits. Contact-form messages are delivered to us by Formspree, our form provider.
Your rights
You can ask what personal data we hold about you or your child, and ask for it to be corrected or erased. You can withdraw consent at any time, and nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf. Reach us through the contact page; if you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
